Creek and Cypress Bend, Craft Farms has welcomed millions of

The father-son team of R.C. and Robert Craft hired Arnold
Palmer to build Cotton Creek in 1987 to insure their niche
in what was to be one of the top golf destinations in the
Southeast. Palmer returned in 1992 to construct the first
nine holes of Cypress Bend and finished the course in 1996.
They remain the only Palmer designed courses in Alabama.

was designed by Jerry Pate, University of Alabama graduate
and winner of the 1974 U.S. Amateur and the 1976 U.S. Open.
Pate first laid his eyes on the ground that would become
Kiva Dunes in 1985 and thought, "Golf architects would kill
for this piece of property." When the time came to select an
architect worthy of the land, rather than choosing top names
like Fazio, Nicklaus or Dye, who were eager to take on this
beautiful piece of property, Pate was chosen.
